We’re waiting for a new Petitions Committee
Petitions had to stop because of the recent general election. Once a new Petitions Committee is set up by the House of Commons, petitions will start again.

Rejected petition Ban the sale of Fireworks to the general public.
Restrict the use of fireworks to those holding the correct Explosives Licences under current https://www.hse.gov.uk/explosives/licensing/index.htm requirements. such as public fireworks displays.
More details
Fireworks contain explosive materials and no limitations are made on the amount the general public can purchase, given the current and ongoing concerns of potential terrorism, the flagrant and continual misuse by minors being passed fireworks by barely older (Adult) teens, the issues caused by personal public displays to wildlife (Wild and Domestic) and those suffering PTSD having served their country is just NOT acceptable!
