Rejected petition Ban the public sale of loud fireworks(bangers) & limit to public displays only!

Ban all loud fireworks (Bangers etc) from public sale and limit them only to professional displays limited to core times of the year NYE, Bonfire Night & Diwali for example.

Make displays outside of these core times a licensable activity via local authorities under a TEMP Events Notice (TEN).

Every year the public cry out for the ban of loud (banger) type fireworks because of their detrimental effect on animals (domestic & wild).

There is also the fear and anxiety the noise causes to children, veterans, PTS victims, the elderly, the lonely and those with other health conditions such a cardiac conditions, mental health and more.

Firework displays are fun and enjoyable for all ages but it is the bangers that are used that are utterly unnecessary and can have lasting negative effects
