We’re waiting for a new Petitions Committee

Petitions had to stop because of the recent general election. Once a new Petitions Committee is set up by the House of Commons, petitions will start again.

Closed petition Create visitation rights for siblings full, step or half

Please create rights for siblings full, step or half to visit one another. Some siblings are split from divorce, others from the moment they were born and it isn’t fair that the legal parent/guardian has the right to revoke visitation from one sibling to another as though they were a friend

More details

These rights between siblings to visit one another without the need of consent from a parent or guardian should only be revoked by court order if it is deemed an unsafe environment for either sibling and should also be a fineable offence if the parent or guardian attempts to revoke visitation rights between siblings it’s not fair that siblings have to suffer due to disagreements between parents or between the step parents and another sibling.
