Rejected petition Reopen Gyms and Sports Facilities in England
Allows gyms and sports facilities to reopen in England, despite the lockdown. Allowing people to maintain some sort of routine and keep healthy, a crucial element in battling the virus.
More details
Science and statistics show that gyms are one of the least likely places to catch Covid-19, ahead of supermarkets, retailers and educational institutions, all of which have been allowed to remain open. Being able to train with proper equipment and on a regular basis is crucial for peoples mental and physical wellbeing. Allow the gyms to reopen and continue practising the strict sanitary measure they have in place, ensuring the health and safety of their members and visitors.
