Closed Allow criminal injuries compensation for victims with unspent convictions

Change requirements of no unspent convictions on claiming criminal injury board compensation. Too many people who deserve assistance get no help due to previous misdemeanours.

For example, someone with a conviction for a crime such as theft could then be seriously injured in a violent attack, and not be eligible for compensation due to an unspent criminal conviction for an unrelated offence. I think this is unfair and many people are being let down by the system and left with no help or compensation for mental and physical injuries.
