Closed Allow the Help to Buy Equity Loan scheme to be used for any property

Remove the requirement for a Help to Buy Equity Loan to used towards a New Build Property and allow it to be used towards any property.

The scheme as detailed in https://www.gov.uk/affordable-home-ownership-schemes/help-to-buy-equity-loan opens a real door to many to get on the property ladder in a sensible and managable way, however misses the mark by being exclusive to those only looking for a new build property.

To make the scheme have the most impact this requirement should be dropped and be allowed to be applied for against any property.
