Closed petition Support freelance sports instructors/coaches in England with freelance funding

Wales has recently launched a sport freelance fund and the UK Government should make a similar scheme available in England.

Since the outbreak of covid-19 the Government has provided funding, however, if you are newly self employed and don't have premises/pay business rates there has been no funding. Many instructors in the fitness industry fall into this category and while the gyms have been forced to close, fitness studio's were also penalised leaving instructors with zero income and even when the gyms were able to open group exercise was banned or restricted to a max. 5 participants meaning a huge drop in income.
