The Government should accept a Higher National Diploma or Jury Service as adequate proof of English to apply for British Citizenship.

At the moment, if I want to apply to become a British Citizen, I need to take an English test to prove that my English is good. However, the tests that are acceptable by the government are lower grade than the one I have, so not only it would be a waste of my time but also money. Why does anybody need to prove that his or her English is good enough if they studied the Higher National Diploma in the UK or have served on a Jury?
