Closed petition Extend eligibility for all student finance to people over the age of 60

In the U.K only those under the age of 60 are entitled to full student finance including post-graduate loans.

With increasing retirement age, sections of society are being denied the opportunity to further their education or change careers.
We call on the Government to extend eligibility for all student finance, not just maintenance loans, to over-60s.
The current guidelines are unfair against the older generation as it stands
