We’re waiting for a new Petitions Committee

Petitions had to stop because of the recent general election. Once a new Petitions Committee is set up by the House of Commons, petitions will start again.

Closed petition Make it compulsory for all religions practiced in the UK to be taught in schools

I would like the Government to make it part of the national curriculum that school students should be taught about all religions practiced in the UK.

More details

The national curriculum requires that schools teach students about Christianity and other principal religions, but it is up to schools how to approach this.

There are too many cases of people not understanding other religions, such as Sikhism, which can result in bullying.

Let’s educate the youth of this nation present and in the future about all religions.
