Government needs to create legislation that:

-Fines tech giants failing to remove COVID & vaccine misinformation
-Stops anti-vax posts being promoted

A survey of 8,000 people in the US & UK by the Vaccine Confidence Project found people's willingness to take a Covid vaccine dropped by 6.4% after reading anti-vax posts.

Misinformation on COVID-19 affects how seriously people take the pandemic. Experts are warning anti-vax posts may undermine and discourage the COVID-19 vaccine, threatening and preventing herd immunity. The vaccine is crucial to helping end the pandemic. However, the spread of misinformation may prevent it from working.
