The Government should fund research into stem cell treatments of diseases like ASL and MS, as there is evidence that these experimental treatments could help some sufferers.

Some pressure groups, especially religious groups oppose stem cell treatment. The Government should support stem cell treatments and fund further stem cell research, especially in illnesses like ALS.
