Change the school year so that any school closures in 2020 do not have the same lasting impact because this year's school year is effectively extended by three months allowing for that amount of closures to help keep the virus under control without damaging children long term.

Only the government can do this.
Change the school year so that any school closures in 2020 do not have the same lasting impact because this year's school year is effectively extended by three months allowing for that amount of closures to help keep the virus under control.By altering the school year schools can close now and in future if further outbreaks without having a long term impact on children's education.
If covid 19 swiftly brought under control can reopen schools and so remedy some of the damage caused in 2019 with school closures.
