Closed petition Make grants or additional loans available to university students due to Covid-19

The Government should introduce a grant or an extended loan to help with expenses like accessing private mental health services, extra household expenses due to being isolated from family and higher bills due to a higher need for utilities like electricity.

The Government have continuously ignored university students throughout this whole pandemic. Millions of students moved back into university or into university for the first time ever in September, with no help or guidance from the government, just slander in the media and forced isolation. The struggle financially and mentally on students needs to be addressed in some way.
