Rejected petition Reduce tuition fees of International University students from £19,500 to £9,250

Call on the government to hold a debate between MPs and international university students to discuss issues that have affected them during the pandemic. Allowing students to voice their opinions and concerns about tuition fees of £19,500+ a year, especially during COVID-19.

More details

As an international student, I feel that not enough representation has been given to international students - the majority of whom pay triple the amount of UK national students.; there is no difference in the quality of education between international and national students. A large majority of petitions and conversations regarding university students focus on UK national students and neglect international students - students that make up a large proportion of the UK university population.
