Closed Recognise fertility treatment at a European Clinic as 'essential travel'

Patients treating infertility, a confirmed medical condition, their treatment clinic can reside in Europe due to the condition being treated ie/ egg donation, sperm donation. We want the government to deem travel for fertility treatment as 'essential travel', the same as other medical conditions.

We are asking the UK Government to help fertility patients who need to travel abroad for treatment - this isn't the path we chose but this is our heartbreaking reality. UK and European governments to allow fertility patients to travel with a medical document and negative COVID test within 72 hours of travel. Infertility is a medical condition, that is fact. Patients undergoing treatment for such should be allowed to travel for medical reasons and it should be classed as essential travel.
