Closed petition Fund a mental health text messaging service

Closed on

People who feel suicidal, isolated and lonely, especially during the lockdown, could benefit from a text message service that could provide daily reassurance that people are not alone and provide support for those in crisis.

When you’re feeling isolated you feel trapped, suffocated and in lockdown this is impacting so many people with and without mental health. Helplines are great to reach out too, but what if you have no motivation to get out of bed, how can you find it ring someone or a helpline, receiving a daily text as a reminder to reassure you could impact saving people from suicide, you would feel worthy, this is vital, many people suffer in silence due to judgement and stigma.
