Rejected petition Change the City of York's YO postcode letters to YR or YK.

The City of York comes under the YO postcode (YO1, YO10, YO19, YO23, YO24, YO26 to YO62) but other areas like Filey, Bridlington, Selby, Thirsk, Scarborough, Malton, Pickering, Whitby and Driffield also have the YO postcode. Therefore, the city must have its own postcode letters such as YR or YK.

I'd like the Government to consider this request as York is a city in its own right. Harrogate has its own letters under HG as does Huddersfield with HD (which is not a city). Therefore, allow York to have either YK or YR.
