Closed Create a compensation fund for live events in light of Covid-19

The live events industry has been forced to close since March 2020, encompassing Live Music, Theatre, Festivals, Trade shows, Product launches, Business Conferences & many others. Events are a huge part of the UK economy employing hundreds of thousands of people as well as providing joy to millions

The Government needs to set up a compensation scheme for live events so event organisers & promoters can plan for when restrictions are lifted without more financial risk. Without an insurance/ compensation scheme there will be far less events planned & the economy will not grow as it could.
