Help the nation heal and give us some hope and something to look forward to.
I am asking the government to help promote and fund a national celebration and commemoration day once the vaccine program allows lockdown and social distancing regulations can be lifted.
it’s the job of a government to lead the nation. Helping us to heal is key. Having a dedicated day, allowing us to honour the memory of lost loved ones and look forward to a brighter future is key to healing. It will give communities something to look forward to now as they would be able start to plan street parties and events, giving people a purpose and something else to focus on right now, it will also help to get people to respect current lockdown if they could see something positive ahead.
