Closed Fund urgent counselling support to NHS staff involved in COVID crisis.

These NHS staff need psychological support now. Private provision can cost £60.00 per hour. This cost would be above what most salaried NHS personnel could afford.

The evidence supporting this request is already known:
- all staff (not only hospital based clinical staff) are experiencing high levels of stress.
- the sheer increase in volume of patients in high care and intensive care units since November 2020
-staff having to cope with high death rates on a weekly basis despite all the care they were able to give
-ambulance crews managing patients during bed shortages knowing this resulted in them not being available to help others in urgent need of care
