Closed petition Encourage all secondary schools to adopt timetabled, live-streamed lessons.
Closed on
Whilst the use of streaming apps/services has been widely adopted it has not been embraced by all schools. This puts many pupils at a disadvantage. We ask the Government to encourage schools to live-stream lessons for core subjects alongside others where possible and keep to a timetable.
Live-streamed lessons:
• Help minimise online distractions for pupils
• Maintain a consistent standard of teaching
• Assist in-school and remote learning simultaneously
• Encourage engagement and feedback
• Can be recorded and made accessible on demand
• Are not restricted to a specific class size
• Promote safer social interaction in a closed online environment
• Provide a routine and structure to the day
• Help parents working from home
• Facilitate a smooth transition when schools reopen
