Rejected petition Waive the NHS Nurse Registration Fee for 2021

Just paid my £120 nursing registration fee for another year, a fee we need to pay every year just to be able to work and help people. In light of the extra pressure and risk involved due to Covid-19 I think this fee should be wavered this year as a gesture of goodwill.

Refund all NHS nurses that have already paid this fee in 2021 and waiver the need for all other NHS nurses not to pay this fee in 2021.

It’s time we valued these incredibly important people within the British society and this is a good start.

The professional fees for nurses are set by the professional bodies for nurses, not the Government or House of Commons, but the above petition calls on the Government to reimburse nurses for the cost of these fees.
