I believe the government should enact law to provide and protect a consumers' right to repair of the products they have bought and subsequently own.

Self-repairing or third party repairs of products owned by consumers can often be constricted or even made impossible by the companies who manufacture that product by intentionally making it more difficult to repair, or by restricting the supply of components to repair the device or equipment in question.
