Closed petition Give job candidates a legal entitlement to constructive feedback after interview
Closed on
At the moment, if you interview a candidate for a job, you have no legal duty to provide any feedback.
Acas states that employers should try to give positive feedback to unsuccessful candidates, but many employers do not.
Every job seeker is a human. Trying their best.
Speak to anybody who has attended an interview and they've most likely had a poor experience at some point.
Every job seeker attending an interview takes on a huge mental responsibility;
- taking time to plan
- to make a good impression
- taking time off work to attend an interview
- incurring expenses to travel to an interview
We need legislation that puts humans at the heart of recruitment.
