Stop the push of mandatory hotel quarantines for international travellers. This would make reuniting families and binational couples more difficult. Implement safety through test and quarantine in a place of their choosing. Safe travel does not require stripping people of their basic human rights.

The mental health of thousands is at risk if this is enforced. ‘Love Is Not Tourism’ is a movement created by thousands of people who have been living in anxiety, forcefully separated from their loved ones for over a year. With the restrictions already in place, it’s made it difficult for those to reunite but would be made even more difficult if forced hotel quarantines were put in place due to an abundance of reasons. Tests & quarantine at a place of choosing is all we ask, please do not do this to us.
