Rat poison used in bait points at thousands of business establishments around the country causes death to wild rodents by causing internal bleeding. This causes indescribable pain. It takes days for the rodent to die and it is left to lay and suffer while it’s insides are melted.

Ethical treatment of animals in this country is often not taken seriously by parliament. Especially wild rodents. The need for rodents to be controlled is understandable but not in the way that is used. No living creature should endure pain and suffering because of humans selfish needs. Change the law so that all poison causes a painless death for wild rodents. No animals deserves to suffer for days.
