Closed Adopt a Zero Covid strategy - full lockdown and close borders

A year since the first UK lockdown due to the COVID pandemic and the spread of the virus has not been controlled. 100,000+ people have died. The spread of new variants presents a risk to the effectiveness of possible vaccines. A Zero COVID Strategy is needed!

2 key principles that should underpin the Zero COVID Strategy:

1) FULL lockdown planned & enforced. Hospital, care home, emergency services and UK "lights on" staff (telecoms infrastructure, etc.) the only exceptions. Financial support to those impacted.

2) UK border closure during lockdown. Implementation of strictly supervised "2-week" quarantine facilities with testing on entry/exit after lockdown.
