Closed petition Allow schools, universities, restaurants and shops to open in March

We would like the Government to reopen schools universities, restaurants and shops by March. What is the point of vaccinating the entire population if we are not willing to reopen before the season ends?

The UK economy has already contracted massively due to the measures taken by the government to combat the coronavirus. We, the people, have passively sat by and withstood being confined to our our homes for nearly an entire year as businesses suffered, unemployment rose and we actively lost an entire year of our lives to the coronavirus. Each day we remain locked down we acquire substantial debt which our children will be forced to pay. We must reopen the economy.
