Closed Add Overseas Professional Carers to Exemption List for Travel

To have Professional Carers from Overseas to be added to the Exemption List for Travel. Health Care Professionals are on the list, and as Professional Carers we have to be registered with the appropriate bodies and Company registered with the Care Commission.

Overseas Carers travel up to twice a month to and from countries overseas. We are tested weekly in work and also have to pay for PCR tests to travel home and back to work again then quarantine for ten days on arrival to the UK.
Bringing in the supervised hotel quarantine will leave vulnerable, elderly clients without their normal Carer and it will add unnecessary stress to the client, carer and the Company.
