Rejected petition Hold live debates with frontline NHS workers as 100,000 + lives lost to COVID-19
The government to consider holding live debates in Parliament between MPs & doctors/nurses/frontline workers to discuss & decide the best package for the long-term impact on mental/physical health. The concern is the low paid, who if unable to work, face issues with DWP, PIP, housing & other issues.

Having traveled the UK to meet NHS victims & heard the difficulties they experience: e.g. government covering-up NHS scandals such as Stafford, Bristol, Alder Hay etc, unable to get right treatment, find work, financial difficulties, forced into poverty & access to benefits. This should not be repeated with our frontline NHS workers who must be directly involved to put in place the right package. The whole system must be prepared to ensure those affected have access to the right help/treatment.

If you want Government policy to be better informed by the views of NHS workers, you could start a petition calling for the Government to establish a new health advisory body made up of NHS workers, to advice on health policy and decisions that affect the NHS.
