Petition Stop sweatshops.
More details
A sweatshop is a factory or workshop, especially in the clothing industry, where manual workers are employed at very low wages for long hours and under poor conditions.
The term 'sweatshop' is a negatively connoted term for any working environment considered to be unacceptably difficult or dangerous.
This is a serious issue which must be stopped at all costs, human rights are being violated just to satisfy our wants and neglecting the sweatshop workers needs by violating their standard of living, is this right? I believe not as we are a country which strongly supports human rights!
As an MEDC we should not be taking advantage of 3rd world countries when we must be helping them rise above the poverty line.
We must get together and 'name and shame' those businesses to stop there unrighteous acts. We can stop Sweatshops and encourage fair trade!
WE MUST STAND TOGETHER AND REMIND EVERYONE WHAT WE ARE KNOWN FOR... EQUALITY!
