Petition Increase the legal age of adulthood for vulnerable & looked after persons

For safeguarding reasons I want the law to be changed so that the age of adulthood is increased for vulnerable & looked after, either until the age of 21 or beyond depending on their capabilities to safeguard themselves.

Current rules do not adequately protect vulnerable and looked after persons who may not be able to adequately safeguard their own interests, but are recognise in law as adults.
