Closed Ensure registered electricians can pull DNO fuses for work

The Government should review existing prerequisites, both legislative and imposed by distributors, for removing DNO refuses, and implement reforms to ensure registered electricians can pull DNO fuses for work.

Currently electricians often face significant delays and costs contacting energy providers and distributors to enable them to pull the DNO fuse. We can rewire buildings of any size but there are inconsistent processes for pulling DNO fuses. It seems daft and the delay in getting it sorted can take weeks during which time a client could be in danger from outdated electrics.
