The impact that Covid has had on Social Housing tenants, with many tenants being in low paid jobs and/or have been furloughed or even lost their jobs, an increase in rent at this time would be immoral.
Many landlords are claiming they have been carrying out repairs when in reality they have not.
Prevent Social Housing landlords increasing rents this financial year. With people already suffering financially, if Social Housing landlords are greedy & seek profit from the poor, we believe this will either lead to a higher benefits bill or an increase in homeless families.
