Make long covid recognised as an occupational illness, to provide financial support for those unable to work/ work as much. There’s no denying the fact that the pandemic has turned everyone’s lives upside down, however there’s other long term health impacts of the virus that are underestimated.

Make long covid an occupational illness, so people can receive the financial support that so many desperately need. Reports suggest that one in seven people fall ill with covid for a month, however some of us still have this debilitating illness almost a year later. Over 200 symptoms have been reported with long covid, affecting people of all ages. Long covid not only causes physical illness, it carries enormous mental and financial burdens. Signing this petition will have life changing impact for so many.
