Closed Increase sentences for crimes relating to bodily harm of another individual

Over the past few years many people have complained about how strict the police are when giving out sentences. There have been examples in recent years where someone has committed a very violent act and received a sentence that might as well be called a joke. This needs to change.

It should not be possible for someone to commit a violent act that has a significant impact on the victim’s quality of life, then only receive a short sentence.
