UK Government needs to pas legislation to reduce the period for children (under 18) to (be able to apply to) settle in the UK to 5 years' residence instead of 7 years.

This is important to consider for protection of basic rights of children and provide them with the fair opportunity to their right to private life and secure integration in the fabric of society.
