Closed Publish monthly data of Aircraft activity by postcode

The Government should work with NATS and the CAA to arrange publication of the volumes of aircraft activity, viewable by postcode. The data should include a count of flight activity by height band, hour-of-day, flight type (arrival/departure) and hourly flight density.

The above information is required by home owners, property developers, renters and holiday makers who are sensitive to aircraft disruptions such as noise, emissions and visual impact.

The reporting in place today relates to Arrivals and Departure counts by individual airports ONLY. There is no reporting by UK postcode. Postcode reporting will capture all plane activity such as; overflying, criss-crossing, stacking etc. This type of information is not readily available to the public.
