Closed Stop large public events being held until everyone is offered a COVID-19 vaccine

We would urge the government to reconsider allowing large public events such as shows, carnivals, pop concerts to take place until the entire nation has been offered a vaccine against COVID-19.

As an example, here in Yorkshire, the Great Yorkshire Show attracts over 150,000 people, the Leeds and Reading pop festival attracts probably 250,000 people. Even smaller events can attract thousands of people, yet at the time of writing a significant proportion of the public haven’t received a first vaccination.
