Closed Bring Partner and Spouse Visa Requirements in Line with BNO Visas

Hong Kong Citizens eligible for BNO visas have access to cheaper visas than partners and spouses of UK Citizens.

This cost is £250 for 5 years and only £2,000 in savings required on the BNO route. For a partner or spousal visa these costs are far higher, with up to £62,500 in savings required.

The Government must amend requirements for partner and spousal visas.

Children and partners have been separated since the start of the pandemic with countless people unable to meet the harsh requirements.

A fiancé visa costs £1,523, plus £18,600 minimum income requirement, in addition to £2,389 for Indefinite Leave to Remain down the line, this is far higher than the new BNO visa.
