Closed Permanently increase Business Rates relief to 100% for all Charity Retail Shops

Every year Charity Retail Shops pay millions in Business Rates tax. This money which should be going to charity is instead being taken by the taxman.

Business rates relief for charities is currently set at 80%. This means every charity retail shop currently has to pay some business rates tax. This diverts valuable money raised by charity retail shops to the taxman. This is something many donors and shoppers at charity shops do not realise is happening when they support their favourite charity.
