Closed Increase NHS pay by increasing higher rates of income tax.

Instead of talking about the heroics of NHS workers in the Covid pandemic funds should be found to reward their efforts. The suggested 1% is inadequate and will seriously hinder both retention and recruitment of staff.

Instead of being tied to not raising income tax for the most fortunate the government should be trying harder to recruit staff for the overworked NHS.
