Closed petition Require temporary workers be offered full employment contracts after two years

I have been a temporary worker for nearly 7 years. I do the exact same work as the full-time employees but get none of the company benefits they get (contractual sick pay, bonuses, Company share scheme). I am often worried that they could tell me not to come back to work with no notice.

The uncertainty and lack of rights resulting from temporary work puts a mental and physical strain on people. I would like the Government to require that temporary workers be offered a permanent role after they have been with the same company for more than two years.
