There is a list of acceptable reasons to leave the UK.

Please add “to check on a second home outside of the UK” to the list.

Second home owners are not tourists. Owning a second home abroad comes with responsibilities and they need to be able to check on their homes.

Some homes abroad have been standing empty for more than a year - to continue to ban homeowners from seeing their houses is unfair.
