Closed Provide financial support & fund research into interventions to treat long COVID

Research is urgently needed to provide treatment for the cohort of long COVID sufferers whether pharmacological, behavioral and psychological support can aid recovery.

Additional financial support should be available to allow people who have reduced hours or had to give up work due to long COVID

Phenomenal progress has been made with vaccine development but research needs to focus on supporting the physical, neurological and psychological impacts of long COVID. Additionally for people such as frontline healthcare workers who contracted COVID as part of their work financial support should be made available to allow them to work flexibly without risk to their financial stability. Long COVID impacts on health, ADLs and ability to participate in activities for enjoyment.
