Going vegan has been challenging to figure out what products are vegan or not, especially when certain ingredients can be derived from plants or animals.

Having food and toiletries clearly labelled helps to prevent accidentally purchasing a non-vegan product.

Every day, there are more people considering a vegan diet, but when those people start out, there is this difficulty knowing what products are not vegan, as they are usually difficult to know about without someone telling them first.

Having this label can also help people choose to buy more sustainably sourced foods or toiletries, as using animal derived products has a large carbon footprint.
