Flaws in the scheme mean tradespeople have struggled to get the expensive certification required to undertake the work in time for the March deadline.

By extending the scheme and providing free, certified training more tradespeople will be able to provide the service, so people could use it

This initiative is important for the planet and for the jobs it has the potential to create.

Hundreds of thousands of people can benefit from the scheme, it's just been executed poorly so far. Instead of pulling it why don't they fix it?

If they make it easier for installers to become accredited, there will be people available to do the works and people would apply.

Tradespeople across the country who have spent thousands to be involved with the scheme have just been left high and dry.
