More details
Food allergy can cause death. Estimates suggest one in 1,333 people in England has experienced anaphylaxis at some point in their lives. Epi-pens are in short supply pre and post Brexit. Allergy awareness education is not mandatory for those serving and /or preparing food across hospitality & food and drinks sector. Eating out of home is a huge risk. People living with food allergies report feeling afraid to eat out. People with food allergies are becoming marginalised. More needs to be done!
