Closed petition Require sound emitters on electric cars to be permanently switched on

Make it a legal requirement that all electric vehicles are fitted with sound emitters and that these devices are always switched on.

There have been several instances of visually-impaired people coming close to serious injury due to not hearing an electric vehicle approaching.

Sound emitters should be on at all times.
